Betsy Siddall

Betsy Siddall was born in 1847, the eldest daughter of Hugh & Eliza Siddall of Nottingham Farm, Barmby Moor.

She married Elisha John Richardson in 1868 and according to the censuses they seem to have had at least 13 (surviving) children over the next 19 years. She died in 1894.

Elisha John Richardson and some of the children are in the Thornton photo above.

Most of them are also in the later Kimberley House photo

Betsy's younger sister Jane Gibb is standing far right on the wedding photo. Their brother was the cricketer Allan Siddall
