'Prussian Blue' Folk Band |
|
'Prussian Blue' were a folk band from York in the 70s. They were formed by Dick Sefton and Roger Pattison in Bishop Wilton. Seen here on BBC North in a programme produced by Chris Wright called "Come on in..." in 1973. Vocalist and songwriter John Bird is joined by Dick, Roger and also Barry May to sing "The World is a Circus". This is the only footage of the band and was shot by a relative off the TV screen live on an 8mm cine camera. The picture is very rough with sound dubbed from a recording made by Dick prior to opening Pollen Recording Studio in the early 1970s. |
