Sunman, Siddill & Skelton

This photo is three of the oldest families in Pocklington, they were in the Royal Artillery in Germany in 1944. Ernest Siddill's great-grandad Edward was from Allerthorpe, but was running the Tiger Inn on Chapmangate in the 1861-1891 censuses. Ernests's grandad Thomas Siddill lived on St John's Terrace on Barmby Road 1881-1901, and was a joiner/employer and may well be on the new Post Office photo.
