Millington
The couple in the photo are Edward Wilson Askwith and his wife, Sarah Agnes. They lived in Town Farm, Millington, and had six children. This photo was taken around 1900 and is a large framed portrait, now hanging in the house of Sandi Dobson. It has been in the family for well over 100 years. It belonged to her grandma, who was their fifth child, Mabel, and who married a Herbert Hewson. They were married in 1922 and lived in Yew Tree Farm, Millington, which is only across the road from her parent's house. Photo and information kindly supplied by Sandi Dobson
