Church & Vicarage - 10

There is an article about this postcard entitled "The Vicar's Tree". The tree (on the left with a plaque in front of it) was planted in 1904 for the long-serving vicar, Rev. J. A. Eldridge. Both the tree and the plaque have gone now due to the expansion of the graveyard.

Attempts to identify the two gents pictured haven't succeeded. But we do think that the grass mower might appear in a photo of the veteran cricketers' pitch being mowed!
