This is by F. Slights of Pocklington. There is just a chance that's his wife and child gazing into the beck. On the right, by the side of the road, there's the sign for The Cross Keys which ceased to trade after the Fleece Inn (just visible on the extreme left) was rebuilt in the 1920s.
