Just this side of the last house on the right there is white-painted cottage that has gone now. It used to be called the "Hind's House" evidently.

The family group are sitting in the Chestnut tree's shade. Over to the left, in an open gateway, a youngster stands.

On the near wall of the first house on the right you can see how the rain water piping goes to the back of the house, presumably to be collected for washing purposes.
